1- To renew the curriculum of the Mechatronics Program to train technicians with professional skills in mechatronics that İzmir labor market demands.
2- To support the teaching staff to take the “training of trainers” for using the new training methods effectively and be able to follow new developments in the industry.
3- To create a mechatronics laboratory infrastructure according to the new curriculum and teaching methods.
4- To prepare online course material according to the new curriculum that supports student's individual learning.
5- To encourage female students to take vocational and technical education, and to provide student quotas for mechatronics program to ensure that half of them are female students.
6- To provide career guidance services for all mechatronics education students during the period of study.

7- To improve sustainable university-industry association in mechatronics training by establishing the institutional structure of cooperation with relevant industry organizations.
